July 11, 2007 First Cleveland Holloway Neighborhood Association Meeting!

  • Over 40 people attended the first meeting of the Cleveland Holloway Neighborhood Association.
    • We informed everyone in the neighborhood that the City was in the process of selling 2.5 acres of land in our neighborhood to two separate non-profits for a total of $1.
    • Dominion Ministries came to the meeting.
      • They were vague about the type of facility they were building and repeatedly assured the neighborhood that they were building "a beautiful facility".
      • We first learned that it was a lock down facility and that the young people who would be served by this facility would not be permitted to leave for school, work, or activities. They would be locked in 24 hours a day.
